Grouplite

Grouplite is a website for making lists of people (people in a group)
and their information - like a phone number or email or favorite color.

It works much like a spreadsheet.

Anybody with a website that has a list of people and phone numbers.

Grouplite was invented by a guy who got tired of copy-pasting from an Excel spreadsheet to a website.

Some information in a list might be sensitive. Not everyone wants the whole internet to know their phone number.

Grouplite has four privacy modes (these can be changed anytime):

Unrestricted - Anyone can see, edit, and change anything! They can even change the privacy options! This is for people who just don't care.
Open - Anyone can see the list, and edit, but there's a password for changing the privacy options.
Public - Anyone can see the list, but a password is needed to edit.
Private - A password is needed just to see the list. It can be different from the edit password.
(individual fields can be made public, on a per-person, per-field basis)

You place the list in your site, just like an image. You do not visit grouplite.com.

Grouplite looks like a spreadsheet, but it does some extra things.

For instance, there can be more than one of the same field.

You know how some people have one phone number and others have more?

Grouplite understands that.

Grouplite is not some kind of "social network", where all the lists of people become mingled in some giant database. Each list is separate from each other one. Even if you want to somehow combine your group with someone else's, you can't. Sorry :(
